This T Bucket build is being done in the USA, the T Bucket is owned and being built by Xtreme Xhaust in Fairfield, California,
A Supercharger kit was supplied by Aussiespeed Street Supercharging Australia to fit the 250 Chevy straight 6 engine. The Aussiespeed Supercharger kit is designed to fit 3rd Generation 194, 230,250 and 292 OHV over head valve engines.
Rob from Xtreme Xhaust has a nice collection of T Buckets and modified cars.
The fiberglass T Bucket project is fitted with a Chevrolet 250 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine.
This picture shows the T bucket in the shop, with the intake bolted on and the 142 Weiand supercharger bolted on. The supercharger snout is made by Aussiespeed and is supplied assembled and uses the standard Weiand coupler that is bolted to the supercharger gears. It uses the stock Weiand gasket and bolts.
Pictured is the 250 inline Chevy fitted with the pulleys, tensioner, snout and snout support that is supplied as part of the kit. Aussiespeed supercharger kits are available for The 3rd generation inline OHV engines and can be supplied in polished or satin finish as a complete kit or single components.
The Aussiespeed intake manifold will accept a 142, 144 Weiand supercharger.
The Aussiespeed supercharger kit is easy to bolt up with a few small things that need to be done when fitting the kit, the correct harmonic damper must be identified as the bottom hub spacer/pulley needs to be a precision fit.
4 speed manual tranny is being used.
Standard water pump, alternator and v bets are used as well as the standard water neck can be used.
Easy to fit and adjust and the top pulley can be changed by undoing 4 bolts.
The 230,250 kits use the same drive snout and can be used with a 2V or single V pulley. The 292 has a longer manifold support, longer drive snout and some will use the additional lower pulley spacer included.
